Big-time Manhattan corporate lawyer Harvey Specter and his team, which includes Donna Paulsen, Louis Litt, and Alex Williams, are launched into a play for power when a new partner joins the firm. With his two best associates gone and Jessica back in Chicago, Specter and the team try to adjust to a new normal without them. The team faces down betrayals, fiery relationships, and secrets that eventually come to light. Old and new rivalries surface among members of the team as they learn to deal with their new member.
No one would expect a show about lawyers to be as compelling as "Game of Thrones", but it is, sometimes more so, and it all has to do with the dynamic of Harvey and Mike..."Suits" has a lot of expectations to live up to, and, based on the premiere episode, not only does it meet those expectations, it launches the audience in a story direction they never would have expected. Without a doubt, "Suits" is the best series on USA and one of the best series on television. What makes it that way is Aaron Korsh’s refusal to let the show’s sense of normalcy exist in a single state for too long... Nothing about "Suits" is ever consistent, and that’s what makes it exciting. Viewers are, for the first time in a while, in completely uncharted territory for the New York based law series, and it's a great feeling.--Merrill Barr, Forbes, June 4, 2014
