While preparing to take over their family's business, privileged students learn about love.
The drama was well-executed in the first couple of episodes, with many good exchanges between Kim Tan and Eun Sang. It showed the couple going around Los Angeles sightseeing. But the tone got more solemn once Kim Tan returned to Korea. That's when he also has to deal with his brother, who sees him as a threat to his inheritance and position in the company...While the show did not have very many climactic moments, the finale was rushed toward a happily-ever-after note, in which the protagonists' problems were all magically resolved. Love is chosen over money (inheritance), and it's a shame when other characters sacrifice true love for the family empire. Overall, the drama told stories of heirs and heiresses growing up, showing that accepting their family inheritances came with many responsibilities and questioning whether these high school students were really ready to inherit the empires that their parents had built.--Holly Li, Asia Pacific Arts, December 23, 2013
