Fifty Shades Darker (2017)

Fifty Shades Darker is an upcoming American erotic romantic drama film directed by James Foley and written by Niall Leonard, based on a novel of same name by British author E. L. James. It is the second film in the Fifty Shades film series, and a sequel to 2015 film Fifty Shades of Grey. The film stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. Principal photography on Fifty Shades Darker and its sequel Fifty Shades Freed began on February 9, 2016, in Paris and Vancouver. It is set to be released on February 10, 2017.

Apocalypto (2006)

Apocalypto is a 2006 American epic adventure film directed and produced by Mel Gibson and written by Gibson and Farhad Safinia. Similar to Gibson's earlier film The Passion of the Christ, all dialogue is in a modern approximation of the ancient language of the setting. Here the Yucatec Maya language is used, with English and other language subtitles, which sometimes refer to the language as Mayan. Set in pre-Columbian Yucatan and Guatemala around the year 1511, even though the Mayan collapse happened some 600 years earlier, Apocalypto depicts the journey of a Mesoamerican tribesman who must escape human sacrifice and rescue his family after the capture and destruction of his village at a time when the Mayan civilization is about to come to an end. The film was a box office success, grossing over $120 million worldwide, and received mostly positive reviews, with critics praising Gibson's direction, Dean Semler's cinematography, and the performances of the cast.

Number 96 (1972)

Number 96 was an Australian television nightly soap opera/serial set in a fictional, small, four-storey, inner city apartment block at 96 Lindsay Street, Paddington, hence the title. Creators Don Cash and Bill Harmon of the Cash Harmon Television production company, produced the series for what was then known as the 0-10 Network, which had requested a similar type of series to the high-rating English soap opera series Coronation Street and specifically one that explored mature subject matter. The premise, original story outlines, and the original characters were devised by David Sale, who also wrote the scripts for the first episodes and continued as script editor for much of the show's run. A then-vacant building at 83 Moncur Street, Woollahra, provided the exterior inspiration for the set built at Channel Ten's in-house studio in Lane Cove, Sydney. Though the series was not the first soap opera in Australia, it was the first to gain a cult following both locally and internationally.

Caillou (1998)

This show is about the life of a young bald boy named Caillou, his family and his friends. It is based on the books by Christine L'Heureux and Helene Despeteaux, which is highly popular in the Quebec area in Canada. There are actually two versions of the show. The first version premiered in late 1997, is only 5 minutes in length, consists of 65 episodes, and is fully animated. The plot line of this version is that a grandmother reads her grandchildren a Caillou book. While this version enjoys success in some countries outside the US, it was never formally aired in the US. The second version, which premiered in late 2000, has the show extended to 30 minutes, and has puppets, music and live action segments thrown in. Deal or No Deal (2008)

The half-hour syndicated version of NBC's "Deal or No Deal" is also hosted by Howie Mandel, but the format has been tweaked a bit. Instead of a contestant choosing from 26 sealed briefcases containing a marker for various amounts of cash from one penny to $1 million, 22 cases are in play and the largest amount that can be won is $500,000. Once a case has been assigned to a contestant, the player then eliminates the remaining 21 cases one by one. The chosen ones are opened and the amount of money inside revealed. After several cases are opened, the player is tempted by the Banker to accept an offer of cash in exchange for not continuing the game and possibly winning a larger sum of money.

Veer-Zaara (2004)

Veer-Zaara is a 2004 Indian romantic drama film directed by Yash Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta in the leading roles, with Rani Mukerji, Manoj Bajpayee, Kirron Kher, Divya Dutta and Anupam Kher in supporting roles. Veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini make a special appearance in the film. The film's story and dialogues were written by Aditya Chopra. Set against the backdrop of conflict between India and Pakistan, this star-crossed romance follows the unfortunate love story of an Indian Air Force pilot, Squadron Leader Veer Pratap Singh and a Pakistani woman hailing from a rich political family of Lahore, Zaara Hayat Khan, who are separated for 22 years. Saamiya Siddiqui, a Pakistani lawyer, finds Veer in prison and upon listening to his story, tries to get him freed. Highly anticipated pre-release, the film eventually became the top-grossing Bollywood film of the year at both the Indian and the international box office, earning over ₹942.2 million (US$14 million) worldwide, in addition to being showcased at numerous prominent film festivals around the world. The music of the film, based on old compositions by the late Madan Mohan with lyrics by Javed Akhtar, was also successful. Upon its theatrical release, Veer-Zaara received mostly positive reviews from critics. The film won several awards in major Indian film award ceremonies, including the Most Popular Film award at the National Film Awards and the Filmfare Award for Best Film, among others.

Two compilation films premiered in Japanese theaters on December 31, 2016, and January 7, 2017.
