Apocalypto is a 2006 American epic adventure film directed and produced by Mel Gibson and written by Gibson and Farhad Safinia. The film features a cast of Indigenous Mexican and Native American actors consisting of Rudy Youngblood, Raoul Trujillo, Mayra Sérbulo, Dalia Hernández, Ian Uriel, Gerardo Taracena, Rodolfo Palacios, Bernardo Ruiz Juarez, Ammel Rodrigo Mendoza, Ricardo Diaz Mendoza and Israel Contreras. Similar to Gibson's earlier film The Passion of the Christ, all dialogue is in a modern approximation of the ancient language of the setting. Here the Yucatec Maya language is used, with English and other language subtitles, which sometimes refer to the language as Mayan.
Set in pre-Columbian Yucatan and Guatemala around the year 1511, even though the Mayan collapse happened some 600 years earlier, Apocalypto depicts the journey of a Mesoamerican tribesman who must escape human sacrifice and rescue his family after the capture and destruction of his village at a time when the Mayan civilization is about to come to an end. The film was a box office success, grossing over $120 million worldwide, and received mostly positive reviews, with critics praising Gibson's direction, Dean Semler's cinematography, and the performances of the cast.

A sketch comedy series, based on the long-running MAD Magazine, that spoofs TV shows, movies, music videos and other pop-culture staples. Celebrity guests stop by from time to time to help the cast members poke fun. Many episodes also feature performances by popular musical acts.
The West Wing (1999)
When the erudite Democrat Josiah "Jed" Bartlet is elected U.S. president, he installs his administration. He places confidants from his electoral campaigns in the White House. Each of these people play a significant role in the Washington power game: the Chief of Staff (Leo McGarry), his deputy (Josh Lyman), Communications Director (Toby Zeigler), deputy (Sam Seaborn, and later, Will Bailey), and press secretary (CJ Cregg). Also in key positions are the assistants of each of the power players. We follow these people through many political battles, as well as some personal ones. Also playing roles are the First Lady (Abigail Bartlet), the President's daughters (Elizabeth, Eleanor, and Zoey), and the personal aide to the President (Charlie Young). All make this series, which supposedly follows the political events (often paraphrasing historical reality) almost day by day, more than merely a political soap.
Law & Order (2014)
Law & Order is one of those shows that have made it many years. This series is still making new episodes. When watching this show for the first time you will be able to immediately tell if it is something you would like or not. This show is about law enforcement individuals who solve everyday crimes. The actors in this show take their job very seriously and handle every crime as if it were happening in real life. They do all different kinds of crime scenarios on this television series. Some of the episodes are related to the special victims unit and others relate to criminal intent. They have kept the same actors throughout the series for the most part. This show is a show for the older crowd since it is rated TV-14. On Law & Order you will notice that almost every scenario can relate to something that can truly occur in real life. The category it is placed under is Drama. It has won many awards throughout the years for how great the show has been.
The Pioneer Woman (2011)
Noted food blogger and cookbook author Ree Drummond, known to her fans as "The Pioneer Woman," is a sassy former city slicker who has moved to a ranch in Oklahoma to live with her rancher husband and their children (not to mention her extended family, a menagerie of animals). Drummond makes the jump from print to TV in this series as she invites viewers into her life (and kitchen), sharing her brand of home cooking, from suppers that are thrown together in a hurry to preparing elaborate celebrations.
"QI" is a quite interesting quiz show in that correct answers are not necessarily the goal. But responding to presenter Sandi Toksvig's mostly obscure questions in a funny or interesting way, regardless of whether the response includes a right answer, is what scores points. And points are deducted if answers merely repeat common misconceptions and urban myth. It's OK to be wrong, but don't be obviously, boringly wrong. Toksvig welcomes to each episode a four-person panel made up of comedians, writers and broadcasters, plus permanent guest Alan Davies.

Hawaii Five-O (1968)
Hawaii Five-0 was filmed entirely on location in Hawaii, the show followed Jack Lord as he played Steve McGarrett, head of an elite state police unit investigating "organized crime, murder, assassination attempts, foreign agents, felonies of every type." James MacArthur played his second-in-command Danny ("Danno") Williams, with local actors Kam Fong, Zulu, Al Harrington, and Herman Wedemeyer, among others, playing members of the Five-O team.
Polizeiruf 110 (1971)
Polizeiruf 110 is a long-running German-language detective television series. The name links to the emergency telephone number of the Volkspolizei. The first episode was broadcast 27 June 1971 in the German Democratic Republic (GDR), and after the dissolution of Deutscher Fernsehfunk the series was picked up by ARD. It was originally created as a counterpart to the West German series Tatort, and quickly became a public favorite.

Underbelly, the first series of Australian crime television drama series Underbelly. The thirteen-part series originally aired from 13 February 2008 to 7 May 2008 on the Nine Network and is loosely based on the real events of the 1995–2004 gangland war in Melbourne. It depicts the key players in Melbourne's criminal underworld, including the Carlton Crew and their rival, Carl Williams. The series is based on the book Leadbelly: Inside Australia's Underworld, by journalists John Silvester and Andrew Rule, and borrows its name from the successful Underbelly true crime anthology book series also authored by Silvester and Rule. An alternative and significantly updated tie-in novel, Underbelly: The Gangland War, was released as their 13th book in the series. The series is produced by the Australian Film Finance Corporation, in association with Film Victoria. The executive producers are Des Monaghan and Jo Horsburgh.

Dragon Ball is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. It is an adaptation of the first 194 chapters of the manga of the same name created by Akira Toriyama, which were published in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1984 to 1988. The anime is composed of 153 episodes that were broadcast on Fuji TV from February 26, 1986, to April 19, 1989. It was broadcast in 81 countries worldwide. It is part of the Dragon Ball media franchise.

It was created by former Entertainment Tonight executive producer Jim Van Messel, and is currently produced by Robert Silverstein and directed by Richard Plotkin. In previous years, Doug Dougherty, Christopher A. Berry and Kim Anastasia directed the program. Access Hollywood Live primarily focuses on news in the music, television, and film industries. Access Hollywood Live has been nationally syndicated in the United States since September 9, 1996. It was previously produced by NBC Studios and has changed distributors over the years, first with New World Television, then 20th Television (after News Corporation bought New World), followed by Warner Bros. Television Distribution, and then to NBC Enterprises when the network started up its own syndication division. Today, NBC Universal Television Distribution, in association with NBC's owned-and-operated station KNBC has been solely responsible for its production and distribution since 2004. Warner Bros. continues its involvement with the program, now being responsible for barter ad sales for Access Hollywood Live. On September 7, 2010, Access Hollywood began broadcasting in high definition. On May 1, 2012, NBC Universal Television Distribution announced it would renew Access Hollywood for three additional years through the 2014-15 season.
