With that distinction comes much scrutiny, putting a crimp in his womanizing ways. After Simon's death, paternity questions about Liam lead to Simon's brother, Cyrus, ascending to the throne.

Rookie Blue (2010)

"Gangland Undercover" documents the lives of outlaw bikers who live in a world in which respect is earned through fear. The series is based on Falco's memoir, "Vagos, Mongols, and Outlaws," and documented historical research of gang rivalries.

The Wire (2002)

This series looks at the narcotics scene in Baltimore through the eyes of law enforcers as well as the drug dealers and users. Other facets of the city that are explored in the series are the government and bureaucracy, schools and the news media. The show was created by former police reporter David Simon, who also wrote many of the episodes.

Cutthroat Kitchen (2013)

"Cutthroat Kitchen" isn't a typical cooking competition. A player, in addition to being a good chef, must be able to outwit and, at times, sabotage opponents to win. Each episode features four people vying in three rounds to win up to $25,000 cash. At the beginning, $100,000 is split evenly among the players to spend however they wish during the game. The chefs spend the money at auctions to get things that could help them -- like buying exclusive use of salt -- or hinder their opponents -- like prohibiting them from tasting a recipe in progress. Each round eliminates one chef, until there is a winner. Although the competitors want to make purchases at auction to improve the chances of winning, they don't want to spend too much; the amount remaining in the winner's bank determines the ultimate prize. Some special tournaments -- usually seasonally themed -- stretch across multiple episodes and offer higher amounts of money. Alton Brown hosts.

As Paul takes on the challenge of operating Wahlburgers, Mark and Donnie make the burger joint their home base when they are in town, and never far from the action are their old neighborhood pals, guys like Henry "Nacho" Laun, Billy Leonard, and Johnny Alves, the man who inspired the Johnny "Drama" character in "Entourage." Wahlberg matriarch Alma also has a prominent role in the series, and she isn't shy about providing her opinions; when she does, everyone listens.
