Written and directed by Jan Oxenberg, this documentary explores the subject of death in a very personal manner. The film focuses on Mae Joffe, Oxenberg's grandmother, who struggles with terminal cancer, but approaches her situation with disarming humor. In addition to extensive interviews with Joffe, the production features playful skits that bring to life Oxenberg's own memories of her grandmother and make use of cardboard cutouts crafted from old photographs.
